About Copperdome Lodge - A Learning Centre with Roots

About Copperdome Lodge

The property is located in an area of rich historical significance. Local farms were settled in the late 1800's and early 1900's and many of the local farms remain in the same family ownership today as when originally settled.

Renovated from the Original Schoolhouse

The original Pemberton Meadows schoolhouse from the 1930's has been renovated to retain much of its historical appeal.  Modern systems and conveniences have been added such that it is now a multi-function room capable of hosting meetings for up to 50 people, entertainment, fitness, wellness and other group events. Other rooms within the adjoining Lodge can be used for smaller break-out rooms [ie. Lounge, dining area, library, internet and games room]. Thus, the whole facility is ideal for gatherings.

Why is Copperdome Lodge a Learning Center?

Originally gifted by neighbouring farmers for the site of the Pemberton Meadows community school, the property has evolved over the years, and was most recently operated as Outward Bound's Western Canadian Mountaineering Base.

The Lodge today maintains its original purpose - to create a comfortable gathering venue where groups can focus on educational pursuits while enjoying beautiful outdoor surroundings.
